It will also have a branching narrative and promise of random supernatural events that will make each playthrough unique.Īt the moment there are some issues with the demo build – the switch puzzle doesn’t make much sense, enemies disappear when killed and there’s some flawed video game logic (such as strangers leaving guns in trash bins, extremely heavy shopping trolleys and shooting the lights of police cars making them magically unlock). The gameplay in Stray Souls will feature a mixture of puzzles, exploration and combat. When he moves into the house he also meets a mysterious girl called Martha, who seems to know a lot more than she’s letting on, especially about the dark secrets the house is holding. In Stray Souls you follow the story of Daniel, a teenage boy who has recently inherited an old run-down house from his grandmother.
Stray Souls blends psychological horror and survival horror gameplay as a teenager moves into his dead grandmother’s house and finds that it’s harboring some very dark secrets.
